Organizing and leading a travel study can be stressful and is a lot of work (see my post about how to organize a travel study). The great news is a number of companies can take the stress and work off your hands.
EF College Study Tours
What I love about EF is that you have your own Program Coordinator, which means you work with one person to design your program. They work with you to help ensure learning objectives are met, administrative approval is gained, and comprehensive plans for student engagement are created. Check out EF College Study tours here.
Fully customized tours. There website is dated but hey maybe they spend their time and money on organizing the tours instead of marketing. They have an impressive list of universities that have traveled with them and have led trips since 1973. Check out Millennium Tours here.
Tailored program that meets your needs. AIFS does all the non-academic planning and makes all the on-site arrangements. Check out AISF custom faculty lead here.
Explorica provides full packages that include flights, hotel, Tour Director and more. Their website also states that they are committed to beating any other published price! What I love about explorica is that you can see tour options and price them on the website. Check out Explorica here.
This list is obviously not a comprehensive as there are numerous third-party providers. If you have used a company to lead a travel study that I don’t have on the list please drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org so that I can add to this list.
